Peter Senior T-9th at the ISPS HANDA Perth International with CX2

Cure Putters, “The Fastest Growing Putter on The Champions Tour”, continued its success on the Professional Golf Tours this past weekend as Australian Peter Senior, a regular on the Champions Tour, journeyed back to his homeland and captured a Top 10 Finish on the European Tour at the ISPS HANDA Perth International held at Lake Karrinyup CC in Perth, Australia.

Senior has been using a long putter for the better part of 20 years , but now has a standard length Cure Classic Series, CX2 putter in his bag and the results speak for themselves. Senior fired rounds of 69, 73, 66 and 71 to finish 9 under par and grab a T-9th Place Finish. He ranked 5th in Putts Per Round with a 28.5 average for the tournament.

Peter Senior Post Round 1 Interview

“Peter told me he loves his new Cure CX2 putter and plans on playing it for the rest of this season,” said Jim Barfield, VP of Tour Operations for Cure Putters. “It’s not easy to make the transition from a long anchored putter to a standard length, but the High MOI of the CX2 is making all the difference in the world. He’s rolling the ball better than I’ve ever seen him roll it and his confidence over the ball is amazing. I can’t wait to see what the rest of the season brings.”

“We’d like to congratulate Peter Senior on his T9 finish and we’re thrilled to have him playing a Cure Putter. The momentum we have on tour right now is incredible and players are seeing great results and improved putting stats. We’re creating a lot of buzz and it’s great validation that our technology truly offers better performance. It’s a very exciting time for our small company – We’re off to a great start in 2016 with a great new line of putters and our recent Golf Digest Hotlist award. Our Higher MOI technology is a game changer for putters just like modern drivers replaced the old persimmon woods. This is the future of putting and we’re on the leading edge,” said Jim McCarthy, Cure Putters CEO.
